Day 01
Choygashtak
Breakfast, a walk around the city center, and Choygashtak — a Tajik pre-wedding celebration in the evening.
We are getting married — and we could not imagine celebrating without you.
Our wedding unfolds across three beautiful days in Dushanbe, the heart of Tajikistan. But before the celebrations begin, we want to share something even more special with you: the country we call home.
We invite you to arrive from August 20th so we can take you on an adventure through alpine lakes, ancient Silk Road fortresses, and mountain landscapes that will take your breath away. This is more than a wedding — it is a journey.
We’ll show you around before the wedding.
Here is a taste of what awaits.
The Week in Tajikistan — a day-by-day guide from your arrival to the wedding.
A few of the dishes one of the world’s oldest peoples has cooked for thousands of years — and still loves.

All flights arrive at Dushanbe International Airport (DYU). We recommend arriving by August 20–21.
